This vase is fully fuctional and spiritually inspired.  The design is made using multiple slabs of clay painted with slip from which each tear is cut out and reapplied to another slab.  Then the sheet of clay is compressed through a slab roller to achieve the  lively surface design.  From there a one of a kind vase takes shape.
