This piece is a perfect example of happenstance and design come together to make something special.  My pieces are not illustrations rather sculptural representations.  The grumpy pouty expression on this little fish can never be reproduced and it reminds me that we are all one of a kind creations.  
This is a set of 3 dipping dishes.  
Created by layering multiple slabs of clay together to 'sculpt' the fish/ design then compressing them into a single slab that forms the vessel. The remaining offcuts of the larger serving bowls in this collection are transformed into the Small Bites Dipping Dishes, making them a natural companion piece for an effortlessly curated table setting.
